International Relations Department

The Department is responsible for coordinating the University’s international cooperation activities and supporting its integration into the global academic community.

Main Areas of Activity

The International Relations Department develops and maintains partnerships with higher education institutions and international organizations worldwide. Its responsibilities include initiating and expanding institutional collaborations, negotiating bilateral and multilateral cooperation agreements, and overseeing their implementation.

A key priority of the Department is the development of sustainable academic and institutional partnerships that foster international engagement across education, research, and the arts.

The Department coordinates activities related to academic mobility, professional development, research visits, and dual degree programmes. It provides organizational and administrative support for faculty members, administrative staff, and students participating in international exchange and cooperation initiatives, facilitating opportunities for academic and professional development at partner institutions abroad.

The Department also coordinates the participation of international students, scholars, and academic staff in exchange and mobility programmes at ASUCA. It supports their integration into the University’s academic environment and provides the necessary administrative assistance to ensure their successful involvement in teaching, research, and other academic activities.

International Partnerships and Events

The Department organizes official visits by foreign delegations and coordinates meetings with international partners. It also plays a leading role in the preparation and organization of international conferences, forums, seminars, workshops, and other academic and cultural events hosted by the University.

These activities enhance ASUCA’s international visibility and contribute to the development of new strategic partnerships.

International Mobility

The Department manages all organizational and administrative procedures related to official international travel by the University’s academic staff, administrative personnel, and students. Its responsibilities include coordinating travel arrangements, preparing the required documentation, liaising with partner institutions, and ensuring the effective implementation of international mobility activities.

Visiting International Scholars

To promote academic excellence and the exchange of international best practices, the Department coordinates the invitation of visiting professors, researchers, artists, and other international experts to ASUCA. It identifies potential candidates in cooperation with the University’s faculties, coordinates the selection process, and provides organizational support throughout their visits.

These initiatives contribute to the internationalization of the University, enrich its academic environment, and encourage the exchange of knowledge, expertise, and innovative teaching practices.
