The Lifelong Learning, Career Development and Alumni Relations Unit at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts (ASUCA) was established in 2022 under the Academic Affairs Department.

Our objectives are broad in scope. In line with the National Qualifications Framework for Lifelong Learning of the Republic of Azerbaijan, approved by Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 311 of 18 July 2018, and the Action Plan for the implementation of the State Strategy for the Development of Education in the Republic of Azerbaijan, approved by Presidential Order No. 995 of 19 January 2015, the Unit aims to promote lifelong learning and support professional development in a changing labor market.

Its objectives include helping individuals acquire new competencies, strengthen their intellectual and professional capabilities, and participate actively in the country’s social, economic, political and cultural life. The Unit also seeks to identify emerging labor market needs, contribute to the development of new specializations, support the adaptation of educational content to contemporary requirements, and encourage the development of creative interests and abilities. By promoting non-formal education alongside formal learning, the Unit works to make educational opportunities more accessible to people of different ages and backgrounds.

To achieve these objectives, ASUCA offers a range of continuing education programs in various fields.

Career Development and Alumni Relations: Key Priorities
