The Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and Technical Services Department operates under the Vice-Rector for Administrative Affairs and is responsible for maintaining and developing the University's digital infrastructure and technical support services.
The Department ensures the reliable operation of the University’s information and communication technologies, supporting teaching, learning, research, creative activities, and administrative processes.
Main Areas of Activity
The Department is responsible for:
- maintaining and developing the University’s ICT infrastructure and local network;
- ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and modernization of computer hardware, software, and technical equipment;
- providing technical support to academic departments, administrative units, and the University Library;
- managing the University’s digital services and online information resources;
- supporting technology-enhanced teaching and learning across all faculties;
- maintaining computer laboratories and specialized software used in academic programmes;
- providing technical support for digital admission and student information systems;
- ensuring the continuous operation and development of the University’s official website and related online services.
The University maintains a modern campus-wide network connecting its faculties, departments, library, and administrative units. Computer laboratories equipped with specialized software support teaching across a range of disciplines, including digital design, computer graphics, publishing, theatre design, and other creative and artistic fields.
The Department also manages the University’s multilingual website, ensuring that information about academic programmes, research, events, conferences, and institutional achievements is regularly updated and accessible to both local and international audiences.
