The Faculty of Fine Arts is one of the University’s longstanding creative faculties, with traditions in visual arts education dating back to the early 1960s.
Fine arts education at the University began with the establishment of the Department of Fine Arts in 1962, followed by the introduction of Painting as a specialization in 1963. In 1982, the Faculty of Fine Arts was officially established as an independent academic unit.
Today, the Faculty provides practice-based education in visual arts, combining classical artistic training with contemporary creative approaches. Students develop professional skills through studio work, artistic research, and interdisciplinary projects.
