Asad Ramiz Rzayev was born on August 29, 1980, in Baku, Azerbaijan.

In 1997, he graduated from the Baku Choreography School. From 1997 to 2010, he worked at the Azerbaijan State Philharmonic Hall. Concurrently, from 1999 to 2002, he was employed at the Azerbaijan State Musical Comedy Theatre.

In 1998, he enrolled in the Bachelor’s programme at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts (ASUCA). He continued his studies at the Master’s level in 2002 and graduated in 2004.

Since 2010, he has been a faculty member of the Department of Choreographic Art and Stage Movement at ASUCA. In 2013, he was appointed Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Acting. In 2015, he was promoted to Senior Lecturer.

On September 14, 2015, he was appointed Dean of the Faculty of Theatre Arts, a position he held until 2017. Since 2017, he has served as Assistant to the Rector of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts.

Since 2016, Associate Professor Rzayev has held the academic title of Associate Professor at the Department of Choreographic Art and Stage Movement.

His professional career combines extensive experience in performing arts, higher education administration, and academic teaching in the fields of choreography, theatre, and stage movement.
