The Department of Education is a key structural unit of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts, responsible for overseeing and managing the curriculum.
In accordance with the order of the Rector of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts dated September 14, 2022, the following departments were established:
- Lifelong education, careers, and graduates.
- Initiative section of the teaching.
- Work section with students.
In 2020, the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan established the Department of Additional Education under the supervision of the Department of Education and Quality. In 2022, a structural reorganization at ADMIU led to the creation of the Department of Education, Career, and Alumni.
This department is responsible for collecting and organizing documentation related to lifelong education, preparing regulatory documents for the organization of the Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), and attracting highly qualified professionals with relevant work experience and expertise in fields such as manufacturing, education, diplomacy, and scientific research.
Additionally, the department oversees the organization and monitoring of practical training, develops and maintains an electronic database of students and graduates, coordinates the issuance and registration of diplomas in cooperation with the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and maintains official records in the university registry. It also organizes paid courses aligned with the university’s profile.
The modern Department of Education, Career, and Alumni consists of one head, one leading specialist, one specialist, and one methodologist. The department is headed by Associate Lecturer Gulnara Mamedova.
The activities of the Teaching Promotion Unit include the following:
Based on the assigned region, the faculty of the cafeteria reviews the distribution of classroom workloads in accordance with existing regulations, inspects and reports on examination results at schools, monitors classes through supervisors, and submits annual statistics to the relevant authorities.
The State Department consists of one head, two experts, and one supervisor. The head of the department is Latafat Abbasova.
Responsibilities include preparing orders for the organization of teaching and all types of examinations, verifying and processing scholarship documents from universities, ensuring the availability of necessary documents for students at both bachelor’s and university levels, and registering orders related to academic leave, transfers, and expulsions in the State Electronic Information System (TMDEMS). Additionally, students are assigned to the office of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
The State Department consists of one head, one senior expert, and two experts. The head of the division is Shalala Alejandro.
